Step 1 — Part A: Create Your Course

Set up, build, and price This is where you create the course itself — your title, thumbnail, offer pricing, and all your content. It's done in two parts: the initial setup flow, and then building out your modules and lessons.

Written Instructions

Go to Memberships & Courses > Courses > Products and click Create New. You'll be walked through:

  • Course title and description — give your course a clear name and explain what students will learn. Try framing part of it as "by the end of this course you will be able to..." so students know exactly what they're signing up for.

  • Thumbnail — upload a 1280 x 720px image. If you don't have one ready, pop a placeholder in and come back later. Canva is great for this.

  • Offer pricing — choose how this course will be sold. See the pricing decision below before you choose.

Which pricing option should I choose?

Simple checkout (one price, share a link): Select Recurring or One Time, set your price, and click Create Offer. Your checkout page is generated automatically — no funnel needed. You'll find the link to share in Step 4 below.

Multiple pricing options or selling via a funnel page: Set the price to Free here. Your real pricing lives on the Shop product you'll create in Step 6. The offer is just the access container — the product is where the money is configured.

⚠️ If you plan to offer payment plans or sell through a funnel, set the offer to Free now. Pricing is configured on the product later. Setting a price here when you're also using a product will create a conflict.

Click Create Offer. Your course is created and you'll land inside it.
