First, you will create your community group.
Go to:
Members & Courses → Communities → Groups
Click:
Create Your First Community
Enter the basic details for your group.
You will be able to set:
• Community name
• URL slug (the final part of the link)
• Group description
• Privacy settings
For example, your community URL may look like:
If you want the group to be private, toggle the privacy setting so members must log in to access it.
Add Community Branding
Next you can add the visual branding for your community.
You will be able to upload:
• Community cover image
• Community logo
• Favicon
The favicon is the small icon that appears in the browser tab.
Recommended image sizes are shown inside the upload areas. You can create these graphics easily in tools like Canva.
Once everything is added, click Create Group.
Set Your Community Login
After creating your group, you will be prompted to set your community login password.
Once your password is set:
Click the confirmation button
Create your profile
Upload your profile photo
Your profile will be visible to other members inside the community.
Review the Community Layout
Once your profile is created, you will see the front end of your community.
The layout includes:
• Cover image at the top of the community
• Community logo
• Navigation sections
You will now be able to customise and manage the community from the backend.
