Customising Individual Communities: Colours & Settings

Within Alvéya, you can customise the look of each community group.Each community can have a unique appearance aligned with your color palette.A new community will initially have standard blue buttons and grey backgrounds.

Written instructions:

Accessing Community Settings

  • Log in to the community group you created.

  • Navigate to the 'Settings' section on the bottom wright side of the screen.

Modifying Basic Settings

  • Change the group name and adjust the URL.

  • If applicable, go back and set up a subdomain for your client portal which will then change the community group link.

  • Adjust the group description and privacy settings if needed (public/private).

Subscription and Newsletter Options

  • Set up a paid subscription for the community group if desired.

  • Enable newsletter options to summarise posts or member activity.

Branding Customisation

  • Update the favicon, community cover image, and logo.

  • Change button colors under the 'Themes' section.

Theme Customisation

  • Choose from existing community themes or customise your own.

  • Keep dark colors darker and light colors lighter from your palette.

  • Recommended to keep error messages in red for visibility.

Membership Management

  • Decide if members can see tabs for learning, events, leaderboard, etc.

  • Add membership questions for access requests (e.g., email address tracking).

Gamification Setup

  • Set up gamification features for member engagement.

  • Define levels and rewards for completing modules.

Adding Promotional Links

  • Include any promotional or affiliate links relevant to your community.

Content Reporting and Member Importing

  • View reported content in the designated section.

  • Import Skool group members and their content if needed.

After customisation, the community will reflect your brand identity, contrasting the initial bland appearance.
