Why am I being asked to create a password when logging in?
This is the standard client login experience. Your access level is determined by your user permissions, not by creating a password.
Will creating a login make me a member instead of an admin?
No. If you have been added as an admin, you will still have admin access once logged in.
Can I connect my community to a course or program?
Yes. Communities can be used alongside courses, memberships or offers inside your Client Portal.
Do my clients need a separate login?
No. Your Client Portal gives them access to everything in one place, including communities, courses and resources.
Can I control whether members can post or comment?
Yes. You can choose:
• Open discussions where members can post and reply
• Restricted channels where only you can post
This gives you full control over how interactive your community is.
What does the client portal include besides communities?
Your community is part of the wider client portal, which can also include:
• Courses
• Events
• Billing and subscriptions
• Contracts and documents
You can turn these features on or off in your portal settings.
Do I need to use all client portal features?
No. You can customise your portal to suit your business.
For example, you may choose to only use:
• Communities
• Courses
And turn everything else off.
Can I customise the look of my community?
Yes. You can customise:
• Cover image
• Logo
• Portal branding
• Colours and layout
This allows your community to feel aligned with your brand.
