If a student can't get into their course — whether they've forgotten their password or never received their login details — you can quickly send them a Magic Link directly from Alvéya. A Magic Link is a one-click login that bypasses the need for a password.
Sending a Magic Link to a student
From the Alvéya main menu, go to Site Pages.
Along the top menu bar, hover over Client Portal and click Dashboard.
Under the Actions section, click the Generate button next to Generate Magic Link.
Click Contact and choose the student from the dropdown list. Make sure you select the correct person before proceeding.
Tick the checkbox next to Send Email to have the Magic Link delivered directly to the student's email address.
Click Generate & Send to send the link.
⚠️ Magic Links expire after a set period. If the student tells you the link has stopped working, simply generate and send a new one.
💡 Magic Links work for any student who has a contact record in Alvéya, regardless of whether they originally signed up through a checkout, a form, or were added manually.
