Blog RSS feed link for automatic posting to social media

Find your Alvéya blog's RSS feed link — just add /rss.xml to your blog address — so the Social Planner can automatically share every new post to your socials.

Your Alvéya blog comes with a built-in RSS feed — a special link that lists your published posts. Once you have it, you can plug it into the Social Planner so every new post is automatically shared to your socials, complete with its thumbnail and excerpt.

What the RSS feed is

Think of it as a live list of your blog posts that other tools can read. Whenever you publish a new post, the feed updates automatically — you never need to touch it again.

Find your RSS feed link

  1. Open your live blog in a browser and copy its web address — for example, https://alveya.au/blog

  2. Add /rss.xml to the end, so it becomes https://alveya.au/blog/rss.xml

  3. Visit that link. If you see a page of code listing your recent posts, your feed is working — that page of code is exactly what it should look like.

💡 If your blog lives at a different path, like /journal, your feed follows the same pattern: https://yourdomain.com.au/journal/rss.xml

A couple of things to know

  • Only published posts appear in the feed — drafts and scheduled posts stay private until they go live.

  • Your blog needs to be live on your connected domain for the feed to work.

⚠️ If you ever change your blog's URL path, your RSS feed link changes too — and anything connected to the old link will stop updating. Set your blog address once and leave it be.

Use it in the Social Planner

Copy your feed link, then follow Automatically Post Blog Content to Facebook and Instagram to set up the automation. From then on, every post you publish shares itself.

One little link, and your blog now does its own social media.
