Before you start:
You will need your Alvéya website set up and your domain connected before your blog can appear at your own web address. If your domain is not connected yet, follow the Branded Domain Setup guide first.
Create Your Blog
Your blog lives inside the Sites area of Alvéya, alongside your website and funnels. Setting it up only takes a couple of minutes.
Open Websites & Funnels from your left-hand menu, then select the Blogs tab along the top.
Select the arrow that is next to “Create Blog” in the top right corner and choose Create blog From template.
Choose the Alvéya template.
Click the three dots next to “New Blog” and choose settings
Give your blog a name - You can change this later if needed..
Choose your domain and URL path — this sets the web address where your blog will live, such as yourpractice.com.au/blog.
Add the link for your favicon image - see this tutorial to learn more about favicons
Save and your blog is created, ready for its first post.
Here is a quick reference for what each setting means:
Setting | What it does |
Blog title | The name of your blog as visitors will see it — for example, “The Wellness Journal” or simply your practice name followed by “Blog”. |
Domain and URL | The web address where your blog lives — usually your website domain followed by /blog (for example, yourpractice.com.au/blog). |
Description | A sentence or two about what your blog covers. This helps search engines understand and share your blog and is also what shows up in search results |
💡 Keep your blog URL short and simple — /blog is the standard most visitors expect and it is easy to remember.
