Set Up Domain for Client portal / Courses / Communities
1. Access Domains and URL Redirects
Navigate to Settings then the Domains and URL Redirects section
2. Set Up Client Portal Domain
Click on Connect Domain.
Choose Client Portal then type in the subdomain you want to use. This is also used for courses and communities too so something like "portal" or "members" would work.
Click on Add Domain
3. Configure Domain Settings
In your domain hosting service, navigate to your DNS records and click add record
Choose CNAME as the record type.
Set the Host as your subdomain word (e.g "portal" or "members")
And the Value as the client portal URL (usually this will be:"clientportal.ludicrous.cloud"). This value is what is telling the subdomain to go to your portal site.
Copy the required value for later use.
4. Verify Domain Records
Return to Alvéya and click on Verify Records.
Wait approximately 30 seconds for verification.
5. Confirm Verification
Check for the Modify button indicating successful verification.
Set Up Domain for Funnels
1. Create the subdomain in Alvéya
Go back to Settings, then Domains and URLs.
Click on Connect to Domain for funnel setup.
In Alvéya, name the sub-domain for your funnels (e.g., Offers). Keep in mind that you can come back and create as many subdomains for your funnels as you want but this can just be a general one for now.
Click Add Record
2. Configure Domain Settings
In your domain hosting service, navigate to your DNS records and click add record
Choose CNAME as the record type.
Set the Host as your subdomain word (e.g "offers")
And the Value as the client portal URL (usually this will be:"sites.ludicrous.cloud"). This value is what is telling the subdomain to go to your funnel page.
3. Verify Funnel Domain Records
Return to Alvéya and click on Verify Records to confirm the funnel domain.
Additional Options
If needed, you can add domains for stores or websites later by repeating these processes
If a 404 page is not set up, you can return to select it later.
Cautionary Notes
Ensure that the subdomain names are unique and not already in use.
Double-check the CNAME values to avoid misconfiguration.
