Go to Contacts and click on the contact's name.
Step 4: Add Document for Sharing
On the right-hand side, click on Documents.
Click on Add.
Step 5: Upload Your Document
Upload the document you wish to share.
Choose whether to share it on the Client Portal or keep it as an internal document.
Step 6: Confirm Document Upload
After uploading, click Upload to confirm.
Refresh the page to see the document listed on the right-hand side.
Step 7: View Document Filters
You can filter documents by All, Internal, Sent, and Received.
Step 8: Client View of Shared Documents
Once the client logs into their Client Portal, they will see Shared Files on the right-hand side.
Refresh the page to see the uploaded document appear.
Step 9: Client Uploads Documents
Clients can click on Add Files to upload their own documents.
💡 This is step one of the Client Portal playbook. Once you've set up document sharing, continue with the rest of the Client Portal setup guides to complete your portal.
