Choose and Clone Your Funnel Template

Written Instructions:

The first step is choosing the right template for and making your own working copy. Alvéya provides a library of pre-built funnel templates — cloning one means you always have a clean original to come back to, and your working copy is yours to edit freely.

Understanding your funnel template options

When you browse the funnel templates in Alvéya, you will see options labelled as sales pages, opt-in pages, and digital product pages. Here is a quick guide to what suits a each type of offer:

  • Long-form sales page — the best fit for most courses or memberships. Includes sections for your offer overview, what's included, testimonials, who it's for, FAQs, and a call to action. Ideal if your course/program/membership is a significant investment and buyers need more detail before deciding.

  • Short-form / digital product page — suits lower-cost or straightforward offers where buyers do not need much convincing. Fewer sections, faster to write and design.

  • Opt-in page templates — primarily for lead generation (free offers, webinar registrations). You can adapt one as a sales page, but a dedicated sales page template will save you time.

💡 Not sure which to choose? If your offering is priced above $300, go long-form. If it is under $100, short-form is usually enough. Anywhere in between, consider how much education your audience needs before they feel ready to buy.

How to choose and clone your template

  1. In your Alvéya dashboard, go to Websites & Funnels in the left-hand menu, then select Funnels.

  2. Click New Funnel, then browse the template library. Use the category filters to narrow down sales page options.

  3. Preview templates by clicking on them. Look at the section structure — how many sections are there, what types of content blocks are included, and does the layout suit your offer?

  4. Once you have chosen your template, click Select Template (or Clone, depending on the view).

  5. Give your funnel a clear name — something that identifies the course/offer and, if you run it multiple times, the cohort or year. For example: Membership Name — 2025.

  6. Click Create Funnel (or Save). Your new funnel will appear in your Funnels list.

⚠️ Do not edit the original template directly. Always clone it first. This ensures you have a clean version to refer back to or use again for future course runs.

What you will see inside your funnel

Once your funnel is created, you will see it contains three pages — each one is a tab across the top of the funnel builder:

  • Sales page — the main page your audience will land on.

  • Order form — the checkout page where they complete their purchase.

  • Thank you page — the confirmation page they see immediately after buying.

You will set up and customise each of these pages as you work through this series. For now, your funnel is created and ready for the next step.

💡 You can rename any of the three page tabs within your funnel by clicking the settings icon next to the tab name. Renaming them makes it easier to navigate once you have multiple funnels in your account.
