Understanding your Website & Funnel analytics options

A guide to the Analytics Dashboard, individual funnel and website stats, key metrics, traffic sources, and visitor insights.

Alvéya gives you two complementary ways to see how your websites, funnels, and other assets are performing — a big-picture dashboard and detailed, page-by-page stats. This guide walks you through both, along with the key metrics you'll come across along the way.

Two ways to track your performance

The Analytics Dashboard — your big picture view

The Analytics Dashboard is your central workspace for measuring how your websites and funnels attract, engage, and convert visitors. Instead of checking each funnel or website separately, you get one consistent place to review your key numbers and charts.

  • You start by choosing one asset type to review — Funnels, Websites, Blogs, Webinars, Forms, Surveys, QR Codes, or External Tracking.

  • You can narrow this further to a single asset, or leave it on "All" to see everything in that category together.

  • Then set a date range, and the dashboard summarises your results with clear KPI cards and visuals tailored to whatever you've selected.

💡 The date range defaults to the last 14 days, and the dashboard automatically compares your numbers to the equivalent period before it — handy for spotting trends without extra work.

Individual funnel or website stats — your page-by-page view

When you want to zoom in on one specific funnel or website, open its Stats tab. This shows a table with every page or step listed, along with its views, opt-ins, sales, and earnings per page view — perfect for pinpointing exactly where visitors are dropping off or converting.

💡 Use the Analytics Dashboard for a whole-of-account view, and drop into an individual funnel or website's Stats tab when you want to zoom in on one specific page.

How to get to your Analytics Dashboard

  1. From the left-hand navigation, go to Websites & Funnels.

  2. Select the Analytics tab from the top navigation ribbon.

  3. Use the dropdown to choose an asset type — Funnels, Websites, Blogs, Webinars, Forms, Surveys, QR Codes, or External Tracking.

  4. Optionally narrow the results to one specific asset. Leaving this set to "All" combines the results for everything in that category.

  5. Set your date range using the picker in the upper right.

  6. Click any KPI card to refocus the charts and breakdowns below it, and explore that metric in more depth.

⚠️ Changing the asset type resets your "specific asset" filter back to All, so you'll need to reselect it if you want to keep narrowing your view.

Key metrics explained

Here's what each figure actually means, so you can read your numbers with confidence.

Metric

What it tells you

Page views (all)

Every visit to the page, including repeat visits from the same person.

Page views (unique)

Each visitor counted once, no matter how many times they came back.

Opt-ins

Anyone who showed interest — bought something, submitted a form or survey, or booked an appointment.

Opt-in rate

Opt-ins divided by unique page views, shown as a percentage.

Sales (orders)

The number of purchases made on that page or step.

Sales rate

Purchases divided by unique page views.

Sales amount

Total revenue generated on that page or step.

Average cart value

Total sales amount divided by total orders — your average order size.

Earnings per page view

Revenue divided by page views, so you can see how much each visit is worth.

Time on page

How long visitors typically stayed.

Where your traffic is coming from

The Traffic Source section of your dashboard breaks down daily traffic by channel — Paid Search, Paid Social, Organic Search, Direct, Referral, Social, and Other (for anything that can't be matched to a known source). It works out where a visit came from using the link's tracking parameters, click identifiers, and referrer information.

You can view this as a Traffic Channel breakdown for a high-level view, or switch to Source/Medium to see the precise origin — for example, google, facebook, or direct. Click on any single day in the chart to filter the whole dashboard down to that date and investigate further.

💡 Add consistent tracking parameters to your campaign links so that traffic is attributed correctly, rather than landing in the "Other" bucket.

Who's visiting your site

Within the Page Views section of your dashboard, you can also see your Top Browsers and Top Client IPs. Top Browsers shows the ten most common browsers your visitors are using, so you can make sure your site looks and works great where it matters most. Top Client IPs shows the ten most active IP addresses accessing your site, which can help you spot unusual activity, like repeated visits from the same address.

A few things to keep in mind

Why don't my numbers match another analytics tool I use?

Different tools track visits in different ways — filtering rules, ad blockers, and how someone lands on your page can all shift the count slightly. It's normal for the numbers to be close rather than identical.

What counts as an opt-in?

Any successful form submission on a step that includes a form block, along with product purchases, survey submissions, and appointment bookings.

Can I trigger an automation based on someone viewing a page?

Yes — you can set up a workflow to run automatically when a contact views a specific funnel or website page, which is a great way to follow up at exactly the right moment.

Now you know exactly where to look to see how your funnels and websites are really performing.
