1. Create or sign in to a Pexels account
Go to Pexels.com.
Create an account or sign in so you can save images in one place.
Use your account to view selected images together and check whether they match the project’s visual identity.
2. Locate the team’s existing collections or search by company name
Check whether you already have access to the team’s Pexels collection.
If you do not see it immediately, use the search function to look up the company or team name.
Review the available collections to find relevant image sets already organised for reference.
3. Review collection categories and browse for the right image style
Open the different collection types available.
Browse through the categories to find images that fit the project.
Example: if you need a specific fruit image, look through a collection such as figs or another relevant category.
4. Add selected images to a new collection
When you find an image you want to use, click the tag button.
Select Create new collection.
Name the collection clearly so it is easy to identify later.
Continue adding additional images to the same collection as you find them.
5. Open your saved collection and copy the share link
After finishing your image selection, go to your profile.
Click Your Collections.
Open the collection you just created.
Copy the link shown at the top of the collection page.
6. Share the collection link with the team
Send the copied link to the team for review.
Use the link to show the exact images you want to use or the style direction you are considering.
Make sure the team can access the collection without needing additional instructions.
Cautionary Notes
Do not send individual image screenshots if a collection link can be shared instead.
Make sure the collection is complete before sharing so reviewers see the full intended direction.
Confirm that the link is accessible to the intended recipients.
Use clear collection names to avoid confusion when multiple projects are being reviewed.
Tips for Efficiency
Save images to a collection as soon as you find them to avoid losing track of good options.
Keep all project-related images in one collection so they can be compared side by side.
Reuse existing team collections when possible to speed up image selection.
Choose images that consistently match the project’s visual identity to reduce revision cycles.
