Instagram Bio Page

This guide walks you through customising your Instagram bio link page, and shows you how to bring it under your own domain so your button links are simple to manage.

Before you start: If you downloaded your website template on or after July 3rd, 2026, your Instagram bio link page is already included. You can skip straight to Customising Your Bio Page below.

What This Template Gives You

Your Instagram bio link page is a single, editable page that sits behind the link in your Instagram bio. Instead of sending people to one static link, it gives them a short list of clear next steps, such as booking an appointment, viewing your services, or downloading your latest guide.

There are six designs to choose from, each using the warm, professional look practitioners are drawn to. You only need one. Pick the design that feels most like you, then make it yours.

Bringing Your Bio Page Under Your Own Domain

If you already have an Alvéya website, you can set your bio page up as a page on your own domain rather than a separate site address. This keeps everything under one web address, and it means your button links only need a short page path instead of a full website URL.

Here is how to set that up.

  1. Add the Instagram bio template as a new site in your account.

  2. Go to your main website, the one your domain is already connected to.

  3. Click Add New Page.

  4. Give the page a name, then set the path you would like it to live at. This is the part of the address after your domain, for example “/bio” or “/links”.

  5. Once the page has been created, select Use Existing.

  6. Choose Website, then select your Instagram bio template website from the list.

  7. Choose the specific page design you customised earlier.

  8. Save and publish your page.

💡 Because your bio page now lives under your own domain, you can link each button to other pages on your site using just the page path, such as “/services”, instead of typing out the full website address every time. It also makes your bio page feel like a natural part of your existing site, not a separate tool.

Customising Your Bio Page

Once you have opened your Instagram bio template, work through each of these in order.

  1. Choose the design you want to use from the six available layouts.

  2. Replace the placeholder photo with your own headshot or a photo that represents your practice.

  3. Update the name field with your name or business name, and add your tagline or title underneath.

  4. Update each button. Change the label to match what it links to, and update the link itself so it points to the right page, whether that is your booking page, your website, or a download.

  5. Remove any buttons you do not need, or duplicate the button style if you would like to add another.

  6. Preview your page, then publish it.

💡 Keep your button labels short and specific. “Book an Appointment” and “My Programs” tell a visitor exactly what they will get, without them needing to guess

A Note on New Website Downloads

From July 3rd, 2026, every new website template download already includes the Instagram bio link page built in. If this applies to you, there is no need to add it as a separate site. Simply open the page inside your existing website, customise it as above, and publish.

Your Instagram bio now works as hard as you do, guiding every visitor to their next step.

If you get stuck at any point, reach out via live chat or submit a support request and we will guide you through.
